Meanwhile, Wesker twins Billie (Siena Agudong) and Jade (Tamara Smart) are sent on the run. Seeking safety and searching for an old friend their father sent them to find, the two are safe for now. However, knowing the paths that demonic resident has put them in the gap between 2022 and 2036, the concept of security is going to be redefined quite radically.
Where Billie and Jade Wesker’s 2022 Story Ends
Young Billie and Jade Wesker’s origin story ends with the loss of a father, but with an uncle as a caretaker. Bert Wesker (Lance Reddick) is another survivor of the Umbrella corporation, as he and his brother Albert were drawn into Evelyn Marcus’s web. After nearly offering himself as a sacrifice to bring down Umbrella’s lab, Albert told Bert, “You deserve to have a life.”
After Albert’s sacrifice, Billie and Jade escape New Raccoon City with Bert. With a bag his father packed for them containing a gun, passports and tons of world currency, his next mission is to find a very important contact in Japan. The surviving members of the Wesker family need to trust each other as they search for a woman Albert specifically told them to locate: Ada Wong.
Why is the Resident Evil Finale name drop so important?
Ada Wong is a big problem in the demonic resident games, and it has pretty deep ties to general mythology. Introduced in 1998 resident evil 2Ada is known to be an unreliable bunch, loyal only to herself. Working with and against Leon S. Kennedy, as well as Albert Wesker, her story throughout the franchise is as rich as it is complicated. You can’t lead your own secret campaign in resident Evil 6 without being so clever.
According to ScreenrantShowrunner Andrew Dabb confirmed that Ada will be in season 2 for sure, provided of course the series is renewed. Where Billie and Jade Wesker’s 2036 Story Ends
Somehow in the 14 years between New Raccoon City and the worldwide apocalypse that demonic resident forecasts in 2036, Billie and Jade are on opposite sides. Older Jade (Ella Balinska) is an itinerant scientist/mom trying to understand the latest incarnation of the T-Virus and save humanity from its effects. Meanwhile, 2036’s Billie (Adeline Rudolph) is firmly on Umbrella’s side, acting as her puppeteer!
Billie has been using company resources to search for her sister, and for a very important reason. Just as Albert Wesker needed the pure blood of his twin daughters to survive, Billie seems to need the blood of Jade’s daughter, Bea. Which is probably due to the nasty bite she suffered when she was a teenager, in which a dog testing Umbrella’s drug Joy was found to be unstable.
Apparently, time is running out for Billie, as her immunity to the T-Virus seems to be wearing thin. By kidnapping her niece and killing a gigantic T-Virus mutated crocodile to do it, she has made it clear that she will do anything to survive. Meanwhile, Jade will now have to hunt down her estranged sister to get her daughter back; and that will likely introduce us to even more strange and interesting creatures down the road.
How the hell is Albert Wesker still alive?
Obviously, there are a lot of questions that some may still have when it comes to Netflix. demonic resident, and that is to be expected. 26 years of gaming canon is still on the table in this universe, and that’s a lot of history to consider. Well it turns out Albert Wesker as we knew him It is not live. That asshole with his throat cut died all spicy like in a volcano, for the events of 2009 resident bad 5! However, as we see in a flashback to the Arklay Mountains in 2005, Albert did something in the name of vanity and working smarter, not harder, as he usually does. Good old Al cloned himself into three visually identical brothers, conveniently named Alby, Bert, and Albert. But for our purposes, we’ll call the last Albert Jr.
Albert Jr. is the father of Billie and Jade Wesker, with Bert and Alby being his uncles. Alby, unfortunately, was killed by Albert Sr., in order to “destroy the evidence” of his unauthorized activities. Ever since Umbrella caught the sages, Evelyn Marcus raided the lab and retrieved Bert and Albert Jr. In exchange for their scientific brilliance, they got to live; Albert Jr. even more so, since he was not locked up in the 17 years since that day.
