Top 5 new Xbox Series X games revealed during Summer Game Fest

Continuing our recapitulative coverage of the Summer Games Festival 2022Microsoft had plenty of new reveals this month, along with its own conference in conjunction with Bethesda Game Works. Wo Long: Fallen Fate

From Team Ninja and the development team behind the Nioh series, Wo Long, it is confirmed that Fallen Dynasty is a new take on the Soulsborne genre of hack and slash titles. Instead of focusing on Japanese folklore, Wo Long focuses on the Three Kingdoms era of feudal China. Playing as a nameless soldier, players will fight, die and try to survive in a world filled with demons and enemies based on Chinese folklore. Players will also be able to make use of various weapons and unique swordplay based on Chinese martial arts.

Team Ninja has been well known for their work on previous Dead or Alive games, along with their brilliant work on the Ninja Gaiden series. With their experiences developing Nioh 1 and 2, there is no doubt that the developers will be able to create a Soulsborne title that is fast-paced, brutally difficult, and intriguing for anyone looking to delve into the game world.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will be released sometime in 2023 for Xbox Series X|S, along with Xbox One and Windows 10 PC.

As the biggest announcement for Summer Game Fest over twenty-five years in the making, Starfield has finally revealed its first gameplay video. As many fans have been quick to dub the title “No Man’s Skyrim,” Starfield is an action RPG with a sci-fi theme, where players are tasked with exploring the far reaches of the galaxy. Create and pilot various spaceships, communicate with alien lifeforms, complete all kinds of quests and quests, and uncover the mysteries of the universe, all with signature Bethesda gameplay.

While the gameplay trailer has proven to be a bit rough around the edges as many classic Creation Engine glitches have been spotted, many Bethesda fans are hopeful that this new IP will become as legendary as Bethesda’s Elder Scrolls and Fallout series. . As players immerse themselves further into the game, they will uncover the mysteries of the world as they work to unite the overworld with the underworld.

The Minecraft series has done well by breaking away from the main series with new and varied gameplay experiences such as Minecraft Dungeons, so many Minecraft fans can expect Minecraft Legends to deliver a solid gaming experience from start to finish.

Minecraft Legends is expected to launch first on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass, and Windows 10/11 PC, and then launch on all other major platforms soon after.

Routine

Previously announced over a decade ago as a Steam Greenlight title, Routine is an intense sci-fi horror game set in a 1980s moon base. The game’s premise revolves around exploring the moon base while lethal robots that want to destroy the player are avoided. If players can avoid the dangers lurking within the base, they will uncover the dark mystery that caused the moon base to be abandoned in the first place.

While details about the game are currently limited, the game’s biggest draw right now is the announcement that Mick Gorden will compose for the game. Mick is best known for his work on the music for Killer Instinct 2013 (Season 1), DOOM 2016/DOOM Eternal, and the Wolfenstein series (2014-2017). With a creative musician like Mick on board, players can look forward to a soundtrack that will blow everyone away.

While there is currently no release date, Routine will launch as a console exclusive on Xbox Series X|S.
