Island Hopper Fortnite Missions are now in-game, a set of six challenges tied, appropriately, to the Island Hopper playlist, a set of creative community-created game modes for players to explore and enjoy! Completing these new Fortnite challenges can earn players six different rewards and a hefty chunk of XP, though you’ll have to get used to all of the new Island Hopper game modes in the process, not to mention that even once you know what to do, you’ll have to get used to it. to find the best way to do it. We’ve got all of the Fortnite Island Hopper missions listed in detail below, along with details on the game modes as well as the rewards you’ll get for completing them.
All New Fortnite Island Hopper Game Modes And How To Play Them
There are a total of six creative game modes listed in the new Island Hopper playlist in Fortnite, listed below:
You can click on any of the game modes above or scroll down to find out more about them, but keep in mind that they’re here for a limited time and will be gone (along with the associated challenges) for July 6 at 10 a.m. ET. All of them can be accessed in their own playlist, which is prominently displayed when you choose your game mode, just below the main Fortnite game types.
Between them all, the Island Hopper game modes represent a pretty diverse section of game types, with several fun twists on the well-known Fortnite formula. Understanding one doesn’t mean understanding them all, so we’ll cover them below in basic detail, so you know what to expect.
One trigger 100 days
A PvE experience that is all about “survival in the sky”, in which players start with a small trigger that can be pressed to generate resources. The goal here is to keep holding on and eventually get to a boss fight, evoking a kind of Fortnite-twist on Minecraft and mods like Skyblock.
parkour universe
An elaborate, slippery, sliding playground made of different courses based on running, jumping, and climbing. It’s basically a series of obstacle courses for players to extend their parkour skills, a fun, yet challenging experience without combat.
Blimp Wars 1000 (Ghost VS Shadow)
Blimp Wars is a massive 12v12 arena based on jumping between… well, blimps, obviously, which provides an exciting backdrop for some pretty chaotic conflict. With everything up in the air, falling off a ledge can prove fatal, fast.
color dash
Although everyone is in cars, this is a different race: everyone is in a huge arena made of colored tiles and must park in the correct one when instructed. Of course, another player can always try to bump you, so… watch out for that.
ultimate murder mystery
A Fortnite twist on social deduction games like Gary’s Mod TTT, Werewolf, or Among Us, Ultimate Murder Mystery has players as Hunters, Sheriffs, or Innocents, and the Sheriff has to figure out who the Hunters are before all the innocents die. How difficult could it be?
Prop Hunt: Modern Mall
Prop Hunt is a well-recognized gaming phenomenon, but if you’re not familiar, half of the players are disguised as objects found on the map and must hide or blend in with the environment until the match is over, all while the other players try to find out which coffee cups and rubber ducks are actually people.
Island Hopper Missions and Challenges
There are six challenges attached to the Island Hopper event, specifically one tied to each of the game modes above, and to completing certain objectives or tasks within them. Here is the full list:
- Collect 3,000 resources in PvE One Trigger.
- Unlock 3 achievements in Parkour Universe
- Collect 50 coins or get 5 melee kills in Ultimate Murder Mystery
- Use 8 vending machines in Blimp Wars.
- Unlock 4 achievements in Color Dash
- Eliminate 3 prop opponents in Prop Hunt – Mall
Each of these challenges will offer you 10k XP when you complete them, so beating all of them will allow you to advance in the Battle Pass. Some are quite understandable at first glance, for example killing 3 prop opponents, while others, like the ones based on “Achievements”, make more sense once you’re in the game, as Parkour Universe and Color Dash they are filled with various objectives players can complete as they explore.
Island Hopper Rewards
In addition to the experience, or just the fun of the game, there are six different rewards that players can earn by completing the above quests, listed below. It doesn’t matter which ones you complete – any combination will give you the mentioned rewards, though you’ll have to beat them all to get the final prize.
- 1 Island Hopper mission completed: Raven Spray Y gg emoticon
- 3 Island Hopper missions completed: Tropical Infrared Wrap Y devastating spray
- 6 Island Hopper missions completed: Macaw Darkwings Back Bling Y Tropic Peak Peak
There’s obviously a lot to be gained, though keep in mind the July 6th deadline mentioned at the beginning – if you haven’t gotten all of these items by then, you won’t.
