The current generation of games is off to a good start and things only seem to be getting better. Several franchises have made a successful leap into the current generation, including Strength, PokemonY Ratchet and Clank, to name a few. In addition, the studios have managed to launch innovative new IPs, such as FromSoftware’s elden ring and Tango Gamework’s Ghostwire: Tokyo. Looking ahead, there are many more releases lined up that promise to continue to push the limits of what the game is capable of.

In 2023, gamers can look forward to another year of quality releases, and many studios have already revealed the exciting projects they have planned. Whether gamers are looking for zombie horror, space exploration, or arcade fighting fun, next year’s full lineup has something for everyone. Also, thanks to the launch of PS VR2, a new generation of virtual reality games is also on the way in 2023.

Biggest games of 2023

Perhaps one of the most anticipated games of 2023 is that of Bethesda. star field which will allow players to take to the skies and explore alien planets. Gamers have been keeping an eye on this title for a long time because it’s the studio’s first new IP in over two decades. A release date for PS VR2 has not been revealed, though Sony has given gamers a sneak peek of the headset. Studios have also announced that they have projects lined up for upcoming headsets, including Skydance Interactive, which is in the works. The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners Chapter 2 – Retribution. It is a highly anticipated game because its predecessor, The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners, found great popularity on PS VR. Chapter 2 of saints and sinners it will come to PS VR in 2022 and PS VR2 in 2023.

Motive Studio has revealed that dead space remake will release on January 23, 2023 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S, though games from other studios haven’t been given a release date outside of the 2023 release window.
