In the endless lands of blocks of Minecraft, even avid miners need a place to rest at the end of the day. While you can get by with a single room carved into the side of a mountain or even a covered hole in the ground, why not build something a little more special to protect your spawn point? Even if it’s just a stylish place to dump your gear and materials when the sun goes down, a bedroom can be the perfect focal point in a well-designed home.
If you want to do something amazing but don’t know where to start, you’ve come to the right place. We’ve rounded up some of the coolest and most interesting bedroom ideas to inspire you. Some of them come with tutorials and build descriptions that you can follow, while others will require you to put in a bit of creativity and effort of your own. Most require additional modpacks that add new decorations or textures, which are usually linked in the build description or comments.

Japanese traditional bedroom
This sleepy, wood and green construction by Jiuyue Architecture is based on traditional Japanese architecture and room construction. It’s open to the air on three sides, so it might not be the best setup for Survival mode.
However, if you’re just looking to do something nice in Creative, check out its bed attached to the floor and tall bamboo garden for some tranquil inspiration. The in-floor fire pit is an especially nice touch, as are the vine-wrapped skylights. It is very, dare we say, aesthetic.
This living room and bedroom combo is based on an actual photo the creator minelied found on Pinterest. The cozy fireplace surrounded by pendant lights and the gentle stairs leading to the loft bedroom are reminiscent of a luxurious log cabin.
Even if you copy the build exactly like Minelied did, there’s still plenty of room around the living room to place chests, shelves, cabinets, bookcases, or whatever else you want to liven up the space. You will need to Mizuno’s 16 handicrafts texture pack to make this room.
dark aquarium bedroom
Looking for something a little more modern? Have you ever wanted to live near the aquatic life of Minecraft, but don’t want to go through the hassle of building your house over a river or the ocean? If any of those statements rang true, this build is for you.
MCram’s bedroom makes extensive use of dark blocks and stoneware to create a very stylish modern bedroom that is still very welcoming. The aquarium room divider and its plant life add the perfect natural touch to the room, as does the fluffy rug in front of the bed.
Modern Pink Shelter
“Modern” doesn’t necessarily have to mean dark and gloomy. Just take a look at this bright pink and white build from AmyYeah. His comprehensive building tutorial shows how to create ample closet space, build shelves, and use rods to give the impression of lamps and fluorescent lights. White and pink brick blocks and pink flowers behind the bed are the perfect finishing touches for this warm and inviting bedroom. Don’t forget to touch up your makeup in front of the dressing table!
The bedroom of an emperor
This final version is a bit different than the others we’ve seen. If you’ve ever dreamed of living in a palace and dining like a king, but a little thing called “reality” gets in your way, this could be the build for you. It is also perfect for lovers of iron ingots, since the walls seem to be lined with them.
The extensive use of clay blocks around the fireplace and ceiling give the impression of marble, while the huge bed indicates nothing but luxury. While it’s hard to tell what the rest of the house looks like from a single screenshot, we can only assume it’s as stylish as this.
