If you’re looking to improve your FPS skills, few games let you do it as well as call of duty: war zone. You will find yourself on a map with up to 99 other players, and you will have to do what you must to survive.   • Recon Drone Field Upgrades have been removed from Underground Transit System loot.
  • Reduced the spawn rate of Radar Jammer Field Upgrade on Rebirth Island.


  • Serpentine
    • Updated description text to better represent damage reduction behavior.
  • Restock
    • Reload time increased to 30 seconds, from 25 seconds

  • Throwing knife
    • Upper torso damage reduced to 200, down from 300
  • Fixed an issue that caused unwanted delays after certain actions when using the H4 Blixen (VG).
  • Fixed an issue that caused the “Wakizashi” camouflage challenge to not track progress.
  • Fixed various issues with the total team cash counter such as 1) including cash from a player who left the match and 2) not behaving correctly when players are in the Gulag.
  • Fixed an issue that caused unwanted visuals during the Infil Caldera cinematic.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the Buy Station UI to sometimes prompt the player to confirm their choice.

  • Alpha Assault Rifle (VG)
    • Maximum damage range reduced to 27.9 meters, down from 30.1 meters.
  • NZ-41 (VG)
    • Max Damage reduced to 37, down from 40
    • Minimum damage increased to 34, from 32
    • Decreased recoil deviation
    • Decreased recoil intensity
    • Muzzle velocity increased by 10%
    • Klauser 40 8mm round magazines
      • Damage range penalty reduced to -10%, down from -20%.
      • Damage penalty has been removed.
      • Fire Scaler has been removed
    • Sakura 50 6.5mm Round Magazines
      • Damage penalty has been removed.
      • Fire Scaler reduced to 5%, down from 12%

    • 7.62 Gorenko 36 round magazines
      • Torso damage multiplier reduced from 15% to 13%.
    • Jonsson 9″ RMK
      • Minimum damage reduced to 30, from 33

For fans of the game, these are some great notes to check out. Especially the introduction of a new mode, the Boiler Champion that confronts you 150 players in a closing circle, battle royale style. While some players may see their weapons nerfed a bit, other players will see increased damage, as well as the removal of damage penalties from their favorite weapons. This could make some drastic changes to the Meta of the game, but only time will tell. Along with the newest season, players have been able to access a new transit system, allowing them to move around the map faster than ever before.
