Fortnite Fuel Cell Locations
Before looking for fuel cell locations, you must first set up a device uplink near Seven Outpost by Command Cavern, or Seven Outpost by Logjam Lumberyard.
It’s best to do this at Command Cavern’s Seven Outpost, as it’s closest to a lot of Command Cavern fuel cells and easy to get back to.
After setting Device Uplink near Command Cavern, go and equip the backpack. It’s next to two blue barrels near the wooden fence on the west side of the river.
After equipping the backpack, follow the nearby river east until you reach the Command Cavern underground entrance.
There are many fuel cell locations in and around Command Cavern, but you just need to pick up two fuel cellsand most locations contain two. We’ve highlighted some of the easiest locations to find Fuel Cells in Command Cavern below.
You will find the first fuel cell immediately to the right of the underground river entrancenext to a table.
The second location of the fuel cell is directly east from the first, up a small incline, overlooking the water. The two fuel cells are next to two container stacks.
For the location of the third fuel cell, head to the north side of Command Cavern. You will find two fuel cells. next to two stacks of containers near the water. A fishing barrel and a cooler can be seen in front of the fuel cells.
The fourth and last easily located fuel cells are in the east side of the Command cavern, by the large circular area filled with containers (and usually some IO guards). Keep an eye out for small containers in front of a forklift to spot these last two fuel cells.
Chapter 3 Season 2 has arrived! New additions include the Prowler skin, along with the return of jetpacks and Choppas. As we enter the final month of Season 2, it’s a good idea to know how to get XP fast in Fortnite. You can also complete Resistance challenges, including collecting signal jammers and finding a power fluctuation. Don’t forget about seasonal challenges, including planting saplings and calling in an airstrike in a tank. Meanwhile, Victory Crowns and the character collection have returned, along with a new Victory Umbrella to earn.
Where to return the backpack to Seven Outpost in Fortnite
Once you’ve collected two fuel cells, you need to return the backpack to either the Seven Outpost near Logjam Lumberyard or the Outpost near Command Cavern, before it loses more than half of its fuel.
It is easier and faster to return the backpack to The Seven Outpost by Command Cavernas you can take the boat (or swim) back along the river you entered Command Cavern by.
To return the backpack, head back to the two barrels by the wooden fence, west of the river, and hold the required button when close enough to complete the 23k XP quest.
