Call of Duty: Vanguard update launches today

Sledgehammer Games has released an update for Call of Duty: Vanguard.

The update went live today on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. Among other things, it rebalances low-caliber magazine attachments. Operators are now silent while performing specific moves. Additionally, trophy systems no longer destroy a thrown Skal Crusher.

Here are the complete patch notes from Sledgehammer Games:

operators

  • All operators are now silent as they cover, land, and perform other moves.

ranked game

  • The Season 3 Skills Split and Top 250 Ladder are now available.

weapons

Magazine attachments with a low caliber have had trouble performing on par with their high caliber counterparts. Today’s update increases the firepower of low caliber mags so players can equip these attachments for handling benefits while keeping similar bullets to kill. The damage values are designed to be most effective with headshots and torso shots. Range decreases will favor close-range firefights.
