Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific features over 150 weapons, and the most popular ones have been revealed, so we’re counting down the top ten of Season 3 weapons as of May 9, 2022.
As is standard in Warzone, the meta is constantly changing. The Warzone Pacific update brought over 40 new Call of Duty: Vanguard weapons and Season 3 included a ton of weapon buffs and nerfs, completely changing the sniper rifle meta.
With this important metachange, thanks to WZRanked.comwe can see the most popular weapons of Warzone Pacific Season 3. So, we are counting down the top ten weapons that players are using in Season 3.
The most popular weapons in Warzone
10. Automaton – 2.51%
The Automaton has been called the easiest weapon to use in Warzone thanks to its extremely low recoil and indulgently high rate of fire.
This Vanguard assault rifle isn’t the powerhouse it once was, but if you’re looking for a low-recoil weapon to take into battle royale, then the Automaton might be the weapon for you. It also has one of the highest K/D ratios on this list, at 1.19.
9. Cold War AK-47 – 2.76%
The Cold War AK-47 has remained one of the best assault rifles in Warzone, thus deserving of a spot in the top ten. Although her knockback can make her a bit unwieldy, she still hits like a truck after the May 4 update.
The AK-47 is a standout choice as a short-range projector or mid-range sniper support, making it a perfect choice for both Caldera and Rebirth Island. Although it doesn’t have the same power it once did, once you get used to the kick of the weapon, there are few better options.
8. Modern Warfare Kar98k – 2.81%
Warzone Season 3 is perhaps the first time the Kar98k hasn’t been in the top five for over a year thanks to major changes to the sniper rifle.
The Kar98k was essentially dropped in Season 3 after losing its one-shot headshot capability at any range. He’s still an effective option if you’re looking for Quickscope on Rebirth Island, but we’ll just have to wait and see if he manages to stay in the top 10 for the rest of Season 3.
7. Welgun – 3.33%
Although Welgun doesn’t get as much love as some of the other SMGs in Warzone Season 3, it’s still an extremely solid option after receiving buffs in the May 4 update.
What makes the Welgun such a popular choice is its extremely low recoil and fast time to kill. It’s once again become a close-range weapon of choice for many top streamers, and we imagine it will hold its own in the top 10 as Season 3 progresses.
Thanks to major sniper rifle nerfs in Season 3, the Kar98k and Swiss K31 are no longer the most popular and HDR has taken their place.
Always a powerful option at long range, the HDR has kept its ability to land a headshot at any distance, and combine that with its insanely fast bullet speed and you have one of the best sniper rifles in the game.
HDR’s only competition is Cold War’s 20mm ZRG, so HDR may lose its top spot as the weeks go by.
Although the XM4 is considered the best assault rifle in Warzone Pacific Season 3, it is only the fifth most popular.
Black Ops Cold War’s XM4 was an extremely popular choice before the Vanguard integration, but it also remained in the meta throughout Season 2 and Season 3. Now, with the Bren finally nerfed and the XM4 getting a buff, there’s very little reason not to take this assault rifle to Caldera and Rebirth Island.
4. Owen Gun – 5.12%
The Owen Gun lay dormant in Warzone for a long time, but it firmly cemented itself in the meta in Season 2 and continued into Season 3.
With incredibly low recoil and high damage per mag, the Owen Gun is arguably the best SMG in Warzone Season 3. With health increased to 150 on Cauldron, the Owen Gun’s accuracy and damage make it a standout choice, no matter what. the way you choose. you are playing
3. Cooper Carbine – 5.76%
Many low-recoil builds have made their way onto this list, but Cooper Carbine beats them all in terms of accuracy.
The Cooper Carbine arrived at the start of Warzone Pacific Season 1 and quickly became the go-to option for many players. Again, it’s not the most powerful weapon in the game, but its almost non-existent recoil and decent damage have kept it in the top 10, even after all the changes in Season 3.
2. MP40 – 7.63%
If you’re looking for a Vanguard SMG to use on Rebirth Island or Caldera, the MP40 is still a great option.
While it may not be the best on paper, the MP40 has risen back to the top SMG spot. Its minimal recoil and solid damage make it a standout choice for close-range fights, so you’ll never feel disadvantaged while using it.
It’s no wonder the MP40 has consistently remained one of the most popular weapons in the game, as it complements any possible loadout.
1. STG44 – 11.75%
The STG44 acts similarly to the M4A1 from Modern Warfare, being an excellent all-rounder for Caldera.
After its main buffs in Season 3, the STG is even more powerful. With a solid TTK, fast bullet speed, and minimal recoil, it’s an effective choice for players of all skill levels.
His popularity consistently stayed in the top 10 throughout Season 2 and Season 2 Reloaded, and he jumped to first place in Season 3.
If you haven’t used any of these weapons in Warzone Pacific Season 3 yet, they’re worth bringing to Caldera for the Operation Monarch Godzilla vs Kong event.
