Apex Legends Season 12 has had a lot to offer, but players are still looking forward to the upcoming seasons, especially with all the leaks building hype.

With that being said, Respawn Entertainment has decided to bring Battle Royale to the mobile gaming community and has released the details on how those interested can pre-register for its release.

Unfortunately, there is currently no official release date for Apex Legends Mobile, but the game has officially opened for pre-registration as of March 17, 2022.

Pre-registration was originally only open to players in select regions, but now players from all regions can play except those from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Russia, and Belarus.

How to pre-register in Apex Legends Mobile: IOS and Android

With worldwide pre-registration now open, players can sign up to play Apex Legends Mobile through the iOS app store or the google play store.

But please note that pre-registration does not guarantee that you will be able to play Apex Legends Mobile earlier. However, that doesn’t seem to stop anyone, as more than 11 million users have already pre-registered.

Apex Legends Mobile Pre-registration Rewards

Pathfinder Sunfire Initiate skin and Become Legendary Holospray

There are some rewards up for grabs for those Apex Legends Mobile fans who pre-register for the game. These rewards are cosmetic and will be awarded to players once they gain access to the game, provided the title reaches 25 million pre-registrations.

Pre-registered players will receive the Become the legendary Holospray with 15 million pre-registered players and the Sunfire Initiate Epic Pathfinder skin at 25 million.

This skin is from the console and PC version of Apex Legends and was first released in Season 1. It often returns to the in-game store and is a great skin to start with Pathfinder in Apex Mobile.

Molten Earth Hound Hide

Additionally, Respawn also announced that everyone who pre-registers will now receive a free Epic skin upon gaining access to the game to celebrate 10 million pre-registered players.

This skin is for the Recon Legend Bloodhound and is called “Molten Earth”. Bloodhound is a great starting Legend for those new to the game, so having this skin at launch is a great incentive to play the character.

Apex Legends Mobile Gameplay

Apex Legends Mobile Havoc Gameplay

The gameplay of Apex Legends Mobile will be inherently similar to what Battle Royale players know and love, with all of the same weapons and mechanics.

From little things like unlimited ammo at the firing range to detailed stats for each weapon, there are a few differences that the developers explicitly implemented for the mobile version that were spotted in the beta and may remain for launch.

legends

Caustic Legends of Apex

To start, players will select from a smaller pool of Legends from the main game. The closed beta currently only has Bloodhound, Gibraltar, Lifeline, Wraith, Bangalore, Caustic, Octane, Mirage, and Pathfinder.

Curiously, confirmed comeback that mobile gamers can “discover new Mobile Legends with new stories to tell.So it looks like Apex Legends Mobile will be getting some new Legends before the main game.

Third person

A third-person perspective is another feature that’s only available on mobile, along with an easter egg that players can activate at the firing range on the PC and console versions.

In the mobile version, players can switch between third and first person depending on their preferences. When in third person, players will get a better view of their surroundings, and the camera will switch back to first when pointing down sights.

Apex Legends Mobile Maps

edge of the world

In the closed beta, the only Battle Royale map that was available was edge of the world. Now, with the regional limited release, gamers can also play on Kings Canyon.

Other maps are available to players, such as the Artillety Arenas map from the main game. This map is available in Arenas for Apex Legends Mobile and Team Deathmatch mode which is similar to the PC and Console LTM “Control”.

The developers have also teased that some new maps will be “mobile first” as well, which matches what dataminers have discovered. But, we will probably get more information about this when the full game is revealed.
