If you’re a fan of both hip-hop and Call of Duty, you probably already know that the Snoop Dogg Pack arrived yesterday in Warzone and Vanguard.

Snoop’s arrival in current CoD games was heralded in the call of duty official websitewhich featured a full biography for the rap star’s in-game operator version.

The biography reads: “Growing up in Long Beach, California, Snoop Dogg realized he had a talent for rapping at a young age and began pursuing it as a career.

“Now, he’s still releasing music and appearing as a media personality on multiple shows, but in his spare time, he chooses to fight as an operator on Call of Duty.”

So what else is there to know about Snoop’s arrival in CoD Warzone and Vanguard? Read on for all the key details.

When did Snoop Dogg come to Call of Duty?

Snoop Dogg’s release date in Warzone and Vanguard was April 19th. You can buy the pack now in the Call of Duty website.

Snoop hit Warzone and Vanguard on that date at 10am PT in the US or 6pm BST here in the UK. Since then, fans have been able to purchase the Snoop Dogg Operator Bundle in-game.

Earlier this month, Snoop Dogg came to Call of Duty: Mobile on April 1, 2022. It is available through the Lucky Draw feature in the mobile version of CoD.

What do you get in the Snoop Dogg Call of Duty Bundle?

In terms of immediate unlocks you can use right away in Warzone or Vanguard, the Snoop Dogg Operator Pack gives you a Snoop outfit from the start and three legendary weapon blueprints: the Bong Ripper sniper rifle, the West Coast Bling and ‘Tha Shiznit’ Submachine Gun: All come with grass-green homing shells.

However, it’s not just about immediate gains. The CoD website notes: “Snoop Dogg can be leveled up like any other Vanguard Operator and comes with four challenges to help him earn Operator XP.”

Players are encouraged to “play as Snoop and get Kills, Headshot Kills, Hipfire Kills, and Wins to unlock significant Operator XP rewards.”

What are those rewards? The blog tells us: “Through Snoop’s progression path, you can unlock various XP and PPSH-41 Weapon XP rewards, as well as two Sprays, two Operator Quips, a calling card, a sticker, an emblem, a weapon charm, a Vanguard – exclusive Killcam Vanity, and four alternate operator outfits. Two of these threads, the gold-trimmed ‘VIP’ and the icy diamond ‘Tha Doggfather’, are unlocked at max level (20).”

The names of some of those items have also been confirmed, so look out for the Mellow Medal weapon charm, the Original Gangsta emblem, the High Art spray, and the finishing move ‘Finishizzle Movizzle’.

Also worth checking out is the ‘Tactical Toke’ match intro and ‘Hit This, Fam’ MVP highlight, which are exclusive Vanguard rewards tied to that paid game.

If you prefer to play on your phone, it’s worth noting that the CoD Mobile version of Snoop is a bit different.

The CoD Mobile version, which is available in the game’s Lucky Draw, is described as “dressed from head to toe in a 24 karat gold embroidered outfit”.

This mobile Snoop comes with “an exclusive new weapon based on a rapid-fire legendary SMG that is gold plated and encrusted with diamonds,” the Call of Duty blog has confirmed.

Also in CoD Mobile, you can “illuminate your enemies under the lights of a mini concert with this weapon’s unique death effect, and watch your frozen weapon become even more conspicuous as you earn eliminations.”

How to get Snoop Dogg in Call of Duty: Warzone and Vanguard

To play as Snoop in Warzone and Vanguard, you will need to purchase the Snoop Dogg Operator Bundle from the in-game store or Call of Duty website.

The price of the Snoop Dogg CoD Pack is 2400 CoD Points, which translates to real money at approximately £16 GBP. That’s pretty much the standard rate for packages like this.

When was Snoop Dogg in Call of Duty before?

Fans with a good long-term memory will remember that Snoop Dogg previously appeared in Call of Duty: Ghosts, the 2013 game from Activision and Infinity Ward.
