However, the latest tease comes from the Obligations Twitter account showing a 40 second clip of two pilots trying to identify an unknown creature moving across the Caldera map. The pilots identify a large set of bones before being stalked by an even larger creature.
While the “Something big is coming to Caldera…” video or message clearly hints at King Kong, the roar heard at the end has apparently given fans a huge clue. The video also showed a part of the Caldera that resembles Skull Island, home of King Kong. All of this teasing has sent the community into a frenzy of speculation, with many agreeing that Obligations could be tapping into a Monsterverse for Warzone season 3, though nothing is official yet, fans will have to wait until the new season is officially unveiled.
If King Kong isn’t enough, Activision recently revealed a new collaboration with rapper Snoop Dogg that will add his likeness to war zone.
