Echo Shards can be turned into a recovery compass, which can then be used to find the spot where a player last died.

Additionally, Minecraft players can find fragments of the “5” music disc inside Ancient City loot chests. When fully assembled in a crafting menu, this music disc can be played on a jukebox and features one of the creepiest tracks in the game. At first glance, Minecraft Old Towns can seem pretty empty. Although this is not necessarily the case, they appear to be due to the inability to spawn hostile mobs inside.

Occasionally this is interrupted when certain structures inadvertently spawn near Ancient Cities. However, Mojang has gone to great lengths to keep Zombies, Skeletons, and Creepers out of sculk-filled cities.

The standard hostile mobs may not appear in Minecraft Old Towns, but the Guardian makes up for their absence.

With the highest health total in the game, Warden possesses the power to kill unsuspecting players in a couple of hits. However, players have a particular advantage when facing this powerful creature.

For all intents and purposes, the Guardian is blind. He can pick up nearby vibrations and has a keen sense of hearing. However, stealthy Minecraft players can avoid conflicts with him entirely.
