Fortnite Chapter 3 cheats and how to get The Foundation skin sooner

FORTNITE Chapter 3 released a bunch of new skins, gameplay features, and emotes that allow for some pretty nifty tricks.

Updates often lead to players discovering exploits until they are fixed, but whether deliberately or accidentally, there are plenty of them in Fortnite Chapter 3.

youtuber Lachlan’s Power put together a myth-busting video for the new season, including a trick to gain access to The Foundation’s next skin.

Several of these tidbits have been popping up on social media as players uncover secrets and tricks in Fortnite Chapter 3.

We’ve selected the most interesting of the bunch below, but be sure to check out Lachlan’s video if you want to see even more myths busted (and tested).

How to unlock The Foundation skin early in Fortnite

The Foundation skin won’t make its Fortnite debut until February 3, 2022. But there is a way to unlock it earlier, if only for a short period of time.

You will need to have the Mystique skin, as well as her Shapeshifter emote.

The emote allows Mystique to transform into the opponent she just eliminated.

All you have to do is kill The Foundation boss in Fortnite to (temporarily) adopt his appearance.

How to easily defeat the boss of The Foundation in Fortnite

Speaking of defeating The Foundation, there is currently an exploit in the game that makes this task a breeze.

This trick is very cheesy, but no more so than the harpoon method which seems to work for everyone.

The Foundation will launch a relentless attack on you as soon as you launch an attack.

The harpoon method is to build a structure along your patrol route, shoot it as it passes, and allow falling damage to do most of the work. Rinse and repeat.

But The Foundation seems to have a blind spot when it comes to foliage; as Lachlan demonstrates, you can shoot him point-blank from a bush and he won’t retaliate.

There’s a John Cena joke somewhere, but for all intents and purposes, he can’t see you.

How to heal when you get hit in Fortnite

Waiting for someone to pick you up when you get knocked down in Fortnite, or any other game, is pretty boring.

But instead of sitting around like a useless lump, watching your life fade away, you can be proactive about the situation.

Well, as long as you’re near one of the 12 repair machines on the map.

Simply crawl to the nearest one and part with 200 gold bars to stay alive until your squad finds the time to pick it up.

As a bonus, you can also use ziplines when you get hit!

How to heal two people with a Med-Mist

Another exploit that may or may not be patched is the Med-Mist two-for-one flaw.

Have the two players you want to heal stand next to each other and start spraying.

Both will heal with a single dose, so make the most of that with your squad before it wears off.

Fortnite Matrix emotes are pay-to-win

A bunch of Matrix The emotes landed in Fortnite as part of the collaboration ahead of the movie’s release.

But a couple of them offer advantages to players beyond aesthetic fun.

Trinity Kick Emoticon – 300 V-Bucks

This emote allows players to disappear, which is perfect for an ambush.

Simply build a ramp and place a floor directly on top of it. This will obviously render the ramp useless.

But if you crouch in the narrow space between the ramp and the floor above and use the emote, you will disappear into the floor and no one will be able to see you.

Neo’s Bullet Time Emoticon – 300 V-Bucks

Just like Neo in The Matrix, you too can use bullet time to dodge bullets.

Take it out when someone points a gun at you and watch the ammo roll by as your hit box warps the fabric of reality around you.

Complete a Fortnite Winterfest challenge early

Fortnite Winterfest is live now with daily challenges dropping until January 6, 2022.

Starting on December 16, the event runs for 14 days with a new mission revealed each day by Sgt. Winter.

One of the challenges requires players to “Give an opponent frozen feet with a chiller grenade.”

But you don’t have to wait for the sergeant. Winter to announce it: he just throws the grenade at an opponent whenever they feel like it and it will count.

This will allow you to unlock the Frosty Llama Back Bling sooner.
