Top 5 Minecraft Mods for New Monsters in 2022

Minecraft is a game known for its various intriguing monsters, from the iconic Creepers to the enigmatic Endermen. However, players have developed various mods to add even more dangerous and impressive creatures to the world.

The sheer number of mods in the Minecraft community is huge, even when filtering out those that aren’t related to custom monsters. Due to this huge collection, it can be difficult to determine which one suits the taste of a specific player.

The Twilight Forest, Mowzie’s Mobs, and 3 Other Great Minecraft Mods for Custom Monsters in 2022

1) Alex’s mobs

While Alex’s Mobs is a well-known mod for adding animals to Minecraft, it doesn’t stop at ordinary creatures. This is especially true for entities outside of the Overworld.

Players venturing into the Nether and the End will encounter all kinds of creepy monsters. Endergrades, Bone Serpents, Soul Vultures, and Specters are just a few of the otherworldly monsters players can encounter in Alex’s Mobs. Considering how well coded these creatures are, with their own behavior, this mod is worth considering.

2) The Twilight Forest

While adding monsters to Minecraft is a lot of fun, sometimes players don’t want the creatures to spread throughout the Overworld.

Twilight Forest fixes this by creating a new dimension that players can open a portal to. This location is full of new structures that contain attractive rewards. However, the forest is not without its villains. Players can find new bosses to face, as well as lower strength hostile mobs.

The Twilight Forest is a well-designed, well-rounded dimension mod that should provide players with many hours of fun.

3) Ice and Fire: Dragons

Ice and Fire: Dragons is a great overhaul mod for players who want a more abundant Overworld. Not only does it add a lot of fantasy-based mobs like Dragons, Gorgons, Mermaids, Pixies, and Hippocampi, but it also addresses the terrain generation code itself. Players can find large caves filled with mythical mobs, including fearsome dragons of different types.

Additionally, players can create new teams with a medieval fantasy theme. They can don dragon scale armor and dragon bone weapons or ride and train a dragon to send into battle.

4) Mowzie’s Mobs

Complete with unique entity AI and the whimsical nature of magic, Mowzie’s Mobs is a diverse mod that adds many new mobs to the game. It also adds magic that players can harness to defeat these creatures.

Many of the mobs are based on fantasy, but others are original concepts formed by BobMowzie and his fellow developers. Players can battle Naga soaring through the sky, dodge Frostmaw’s icy attacks, or cross swords with the mighty Ferrous Wroughtnaught.

There’s simply no Minecraft without the Creeper mob, and Creeper Overhaul adds some much-needed diversity to the iconic green creature.

With this mod, players can encounter various breeds of Creepers, each with unique traits to suit their environment.

Players can explore the various biomes in the game and find Swamp Creepers, Snow Creepers, Dripstone Creepers, and many more.
