How to play Shadow in Overwatch 2

Sombra is a hard damage hero to play and harder to master in Overwatch 2. Here are some tips and tricks to learn this tricky hero.

Sombra is a damage hero in surveillance 2 who uses hacks and movement abilities to teleport around the battlefield, providing support to his team while taking out key objectives. Basic Attack – Automatic Pistol

  • Cooldown: 4 seconds

Second Skill – Translocator
  • Launch a Translocator beacon. Activating the ability again will teleport you back to the Translocator.
Third Skill – Stealth
  • Cooldown: 6 seconds after coming out of Stealth
  • Turn invisible, increasing movement speed. Taking damage will disable stealth, and colliding with any enemy will make you slightly visible for a second.
Ultimate – PEM
  • Damage: 40% of the target’s current health
  • Hack duration: 8 seconds
  • Skills disabled Duration: 2 seconds
  • Deals damage and hacks to all enemies in a large radius, destroying barriers.
Passive – Opportunistic
  • Sombra can spot enemies with less than half health through walls, and hacked enemies take 40% more damage from her attacks.

Tips and tricks for playing Sombra

Sombra is a difficult but rewarding hero to play. To help, here are some tips and tricks to learn this hero.

Always leave a back door

During a match, Sombra will be everywhere at once. Always make sure place a Translocator behind your team before passing the enemy. Quick recovery activation teleport safely away from the enemy, allowing you to get behind them, take out an opponent, and then teleport away. Before facing the enemy, make sure you have a Translocator attached. Generally you will want place it near a hacked health pack to quickly restore its health after remembering.

Coordinate the status of your EMP with your teamY only use it if they are nearby and can capitalize on it. Also, EMP and Hacking in general, disable abilities in use, such as Mercy’s Resurrect or Roadhog’s Take a Breather. Hacking enemies this way can save your team if used at the right time.
