Famed Minecraft streamer Clay “Dream” took a dig at Andrew Tate after the controversial figure was banned from all major social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and even YouTube. Calling him an idiot, the Minecraft player trolled Tate and sarcastically praised him for uniting so many people against his narratives:
“Imagine CEOs of all ages, genders, and ethnicities collectively agreeing that you’re an idiot.”
Possibly the most famous Minecraft content creator online, Dream’s comments gained traction fairly quickly, amassing tens of thousands of likes within minutes of posting it. Fans and gaming enthusiasts were quick to tweet to give their thoughts.
‘I’m kind of blown away’: Minecraft Dream star mocks Andrew Tate’s fall
Tate has seen an astronomical rise in popularity in recent months after making headlines for his views on women and their role in relationships. Netizens feel strongly about the issue, with people condemning the ill effects that clips of her and TikToks have had on young people.
Many were celebrating its ban, especially after UK anti-ra*e charities explicitly labeled its content as a defender of ra*e culture. Dream’s sarcastic comments were directed towards the fact that the former kickboxer was banned from so many different platforms. On Twitter, the former joked:
“I’m a little shocked that Andrew Tate has been kicked out of so many places.”
The streamer also noted that Andrew Tate appears to have achieved what many Internet trolls see as an ultimate goal: upsetting so many people that they are banned from virtually all social media by the authorities. Dream did not beat around the bush and said:
“…There are trolls who have been trying for years to achieve what he did in just a few weeks!”
Being such a hot topic, it’s understandable that Twitter users and Dream fans took it upon themselves to reply and share the tweet. Within an hour, the tweet surpassed the 40,000 likes mark, a testament to the virality of both the streamer and Tate.
Other gaming personalities also weighed in, including pro Fortnite player Ceice who trolled “11-year-old fanboys” for allegedly being Tate’s biggest fans. Others also noted that the post’s wording had them worried for a second:
Multiple fans teased another question: Is Andrew Tate banned from the famous Minecraft server? Some even started posting memes on the subject. Along with that, numerous fans also expressed their discontent at the thought of Andrew Tate:
Concerning Tate’s perception, concerns were raised after a high school teacher noted how the young male students in her class had already developed anti-woman attitudes as a result of watching her films.
With so many people opposing Tate, Dream’s tweet was sure to provoke a massive backlash.
