New updates are being added at the end of this story…….

The original story (published May 13, 2022) is as follows:

Fortnite Mobile is the mobile and tablet version of the hit Battle Royale game from Epic Games.

Fortnite Mobile seeks to offer almost the same experience as the original game, but adapting it to touch screens.

To accommodate different types of hardware, Fortnite Mobile also offers various graphics settings. Players can tweak things like detail level and FPS rate.

Recently, Fortnite Mobile received a hotfix after which the 90 FPS and 45 FPS options disappeared from the graphics settings. However, this has an explanation (1, two, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, eleven, 12, 13, 14).

Missing 90 FPS and 45 FPS options in Fortnite Mobile settings

According to various reports, the latest patch for Fortnite Mobile brought performance issues and the loss of additional FPS options (1, two, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8).

There is no 45 to 90 fps for android player before this shit only 30 which never stay at 30 fps move camera fps go down to 8 fps sometimes some game he made for snapdragon phones High end 888.

No 45fps or 90fps on my OnePlus 8?!?!

Will this be fixed soon? I don’t even get 25fps on my OnePlus 8 which normally gets 90fps easily! There is no tweet explaining anything on the Fortnite Status twitter! Communicate with the mobile community!

Performance issues mainly manifest in heavy FPS drops during matches.

Fortnite optimization.

So today when I started Fortnite the game randomly started optimizing content it didn’t after the last few updates but it did today and instead of improving my performance now I’m having so many issues with fps I’m just getting 15-20 right after. jumping out of the battle bus before it was 40-50 and i’m having so many fps drops. .

Here is the official word from Epic Games

The Epic Games team shed more light on the performance issues. They claim that it’s all due to Fortnite Mobile’s compatibility conflicts with recent GPU drivers on various devices.

The company is currently working with partners to resolve the issue. However, there is no ETA for it yet.

Due to some GPUs having compatibility issues with recent driver updates, Android players may experience reduced performance or no longer see options for 45fps or 90fps graphics settings.

We are actively working with our partners and will provide an update when one becomes available. Updating your Android OS and drivers as updates become available can help in the meantime.

Additionally, an Epic Games community coordinator added that the loss of Fortnite Mobile’s 90 FPS and 45 FPS settings is due to the game currently being in a “compatibility mode”.

We will update this story once new developments on the subject emerge in the future.
