Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 has two pay-to-win items that most people don’t know about

Pay-to-win items in Fortnite are a threat and give players a distinct advantage. Those who own these items do not have to rely heavily on aiming and building skills. They can easily emerge victorious in sticky situations by using pay-to-win items like skins, emotes, and pickaxes.

Unfortunately, Epic Games overlooked several flawed cosmetics in Chapter 3 Season 3. Therefore, players ended up having more paid cosmetics to earn in the current season that many people are not aware of. While some of these flaws have been fixed, the rest are still essential.

Epic Games has come under heavy criticism recently for items like the Dragon Lance pickaxe and Crew Pack membership. Both broke Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 as these are the most recent pay-to-win items to hit the Battle Royale game.

Items that give players an edge over others are extremely popular in the Battle Royale game. Although it is completely free to play, Epic Games still offers cosmetic items that players can purchase from the item shop.

Players have always abused skins like Toy Trooper and Custom Superheros to hide them in plain sight. There have also been pickaxes like Star Wand that ended up doing extra damage due to a glitch.

Fortunately, all of these cosmetics have been fixed by the developers, but there are still some new pay-to-earn items that arrived in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3.

The first pay-to-win item to arrive in the current season was the Dragon Rune Lance pickaxe. Unlike the Star Wand, this pickaxe did not deal increased damage. Instead, it allowed players to sneak up on their enemies without revealing any audio cues.

With Dragon Rune Lance equipped, players could walk without making a sound. This caused the pickaxe to be extremely broken and Epic Games had to disable the cosmetic item until the glitch was fixed.

Fortnite Crew Pack

Fortnite impostors are absolutely AGONY with people who have the crew pack that can be hidden in meetings. please fix this @GameFortnite #Fortnite

Dragon Rune Lance may already have been fixed, but there’s another pay-to-win item in Chapter 3 Season 3. In fact, the entire Crew Pack subscription has been pay-to-win since June. Players with a Crew Pack subscription can win an Impostors LTM game almost every time.

A technical issue allows players to open the Crew menu while playing the Impostors LTM. This helps them move around during voting time and avoid being eliminated. Clearly, players with a Crew Pack subscription can cheat to win every game just by purchasing the subscription.

In addition to the Dragon Rune Lance and Crew Pack, Chapter 3 Season 3 has several pay-to-win emotes, such as the Neighborly Hang emote from previous seasons.

Players can use them to get their way out of sticky situations or catch enemies off guard. Most pay-to-win items are repaired immediately, but the ones with the Fortnite Crew Pack and other emotes are still damaged beyond repair.
