Oilfield (6v6)

shared by ‘Espresso‘, a popular Call of Duty content creator, this is one of the leaked maps coming to Modern Warfare 2, or, at least, a codename for the map. This could be hinting at a Rust Remake, as Rust is set in an abandoned refinery-type location, but take that with a big pinch of salt.

Esports Gym (6v6)

This is the codename of another leaked map coming to Modern Warfare 2. At the moment, we don’t know what to expect from Esports Gym; however, the name would suggest that it could be set in a place where esports professionals train and compete.

Dog Town (6v6)

Dogtown is another codename for a leaked Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer map. We don’t know what to expect from this map, but it could feature a skate park in some way, with the name inspired by Lords of Dogtown, a cult classic that follows to the Zephyr Skateboard Team and the rise of the sport in the USA.

Exhume (6v6)

This is the codename of another leaked Modern Warfare 2 map. Again, we’re not quite sure what to expect from this map, and it may not even make it into the game. However, the code name would suggest some kind of discovery. So we could see this map located on the discovered ‘corpse’ of a large structure – a large ship or a building of some kind.

Fallout (6v6)

This is the currently known name of another leaked map coming to Modern Warfare 2. We don’t know what to expect, but the codename of this map would suggest that it will feature the aftermath of a huge explosion, possibly even a nuclear fallout.

Floating Bay (6v6)

‘Floating Bay’ is another leaked Modern Warfare 2 map that is expected to be a six vs. six experience. The current codename suggests this could feature the floating villages of Halong Bay, Vietnam. However, take this with a pinch of salt until we know more.

Assassination (6v6)

Based on the leaks, it looks like Killhouse is coming to Modern Warfare 2 as one of its main multiplayer maps. This map was originally featured in Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare and was later added to Modern Warfare 2019 during the second season of Black Ops Cold War. We could see it return once more, but take this with a pinch of salt until we know more.

Lighthouse (6v6)

This is the name of another leaked Modern Warfare 2 map, and as you can imagine, we expect it to feature a beacon in a big way. We don’t know what to expect, or if this map will actually make it to Modern Warfare 2 or not, so take it with a grain of salt.

Luxury (6v6)

We don’t know what to expect from this map, not at all, but it’s on the list of leaked Modern Warfare 2 maps, so we could see it appear when the game launches in late 2022. Take it with a grain of salt, though. until we know more.

Mountain Town (6v6)

Mountain Town is the codename of a leaked Modern Warfare 2 map. We don’t have a confirmation on this map yet, so take it all with a grain of salt. There are many cities in many mountains around the world, so we don’t know what to expect yet.

drug dealers (6v6)

This is another leaked codename for an upcoming Modern Warfare 2 map. The codename could be a reference to the popular Netflix show Narcos, which made the term referring to Drug and Narcotics Enforcement agents synonymous. of cocaine trafficking and Colombian cartels. However, take all of this with a pinch of salt until we know more.

New version of Favela (6v6)

According to the Call of Duty leaker’RalphsValvea new version of Favela, a map from Modern Warfare 2 (2009), is coming to the new Modern Warfare 2. However, we have no confirmation of this addition, so take it with a grain of salt.

New terminal version (6v6)

Like the previous one, RalphsValve has claimed that a new version of Terminal is coming to Modern Warfare 2. This is another popular map from Modern Warfare 2 (2009) where players fight in and around an airport terminal. This has not been confirmed, so take it with a grain of salt.

Skyscraper New Version (6v6)

In a similar vein to the above, this is another map that has allegedly been leaked by RalphsValve. He’s a reliable source, and a Highrise Remake wouldn’t be much of a surprise, but take this with another pinch of salt until we know more.

New release version (6v6)

As a multiplayer map that has appeared in nearly every Call of Duty game since its initial release, we wouldn’t be surprised to see a new version of Shipment in Modern Warfare 2. However, as it was leaked by RalphsValve, it should be taken with a pinch of salt. , no matter how reliable it may be as a leaker.

Quarry Remake (6v6)

RalphsValve has reportedly confirmed a new version of this medium-sized map, and as unsurprising as it is, it’s worth taking with a grain of salt until we know more and see some confirmation.

Sariff Bay (Battle)

According to CharlieIntel, this will be a larger map built for modes like Ground War, and will share a POI with the new Warzone 2 map. This is something we saw with Modern Warfare 2019 and Verdansk, so it’s not a huge surprise. However, at this time, we don’t know what to expect from this location.

Said (Battle)

Similarly to the above, we don’t know much about what this map will look like. However, CharlieIntel suggested that it will be more urban than the aforementioned Sariff Bay. How urban, though? That remains to be seen.

Well, that’s it: every confirmed and leaked Modern Warfare 2 map that we know of. Expect a lot more of this to be cleared up as we head into Early Access and the launch of Modern Warfare 2.
