NEW YORK, August 2, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — In August 4, 2022(RED), the organization co-founded by Bono and Bobby Shriver, will be hosting its second major live-streamed gaming event featuring some of the world’s best Minecraft creators to help fight the AIDS and COVID-19 pandemics. The virtual event will raise the awareness and money needed to ensure testing, treatment and vaccines are available to the most vulnerable. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation will match all the money raised from the tournament, more than doubling the impact.

Bajan Canadian, AntVenom, joe bartolozziLoony, Papaplatte, Legundo, ItsFunneh Krew, and SpideyArmy from Misfits Gaming Group will come together for the (RED) Creators Cup, which will be broadcast on Twitch Y Youtubeas much as Facebook, TwitterY tik tok. From 2:00 p.m. Eastern Timecreators will enter a custom Minecraft world (RED) where they will play and give fans the opportunity to trigger real-time in-game events simply with a donation.

Gaming fans around the world can also access (RED)’s Tiltify fundraising tools to host their own fundraising streams, allowing gamers around the world to broadcast and support the mission of (RED) wherever they are.

The (RED) Creator Cup takes place in the middle of (RED’s) ongoing summer campaign, (SUMMER LIVE), a campaign to fight AIDS and COVID-19.
