This new series was developed and created by Andrew Dabb and stars Ella Balinska, Tamara Smart, Siena Agudong, Adeline Rudolph, Paola Núñez and Lance Reddick.

There was so much hope for this new series after a very lackluster issue demonic resident adaptations

We’ve seen the pretty awful Paul WS Anderson movies, and then we have a really bad reboot movie in 2021 called Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City.

So it really seemed like Dabb’s Netflix series was demonic resident fans’ last hope for a really good adaptation of the survival horror video game series.

But even though a number of fans didn’t love the series, could a second season be on the horizon?

Well, if you look at the numbers for the show, there is a very good chance that a second season will happen.

To be clear, Netflix has yet to announce a second season.

So with all of this in mind, it seems likely that Netflix will greenlight a second season of this show.

As for who will star in a possible demonic resident Season 2, I would expect most of the cast (who made it to the end of the first season) to return for a second season.

The first season starred Ella Balinska, Tamara Smart, Siena Agudong, Adeline Rudolph, Paola Núñez, and Lance Reddick.

I would love to see all the actors from the first season come back, and we might even see the ones who didn’t make it to the end of season 1 in flashbacks.

The first season was divided between the present and the past.

I’m sure they could do something like that for season two.

However, personally, I would like them to end up abandoning that narrative method for the second season.

I’d rather see a demonic resident Season 2 stays in one timeline and doesn’t flit between the present and the past.

So what could happen in a second season of demonic resident?

Well, your guess is as good as mine.

The series is basically an original story and not really based on the video games.

Personally, I have always wanted a series or a movie that adapts current video games.

I would love to see a series or movie that is based on a supposedly abandoned mansion or police station, as the first two video games were.

I don’t understand why these demonic resident Series and movies never do this.

Fingers crossed they can do this with a second season, but something tells me they won’t.
