Call of Duty Warzone Beginners Guide to All Items in the Game

In Call of Duty Warzone, players have to loot various houses and locations for weapons to fight with as they are dropped with only one pistol. Choosing the right weapons may be the most important task for players, but having the right equipment and items at the peak of time can determine the winner of a matchup.

In this article, we’ll focus on the various items that can be found or requested in Warzone, their purpose, and how to use them.

Various items found on Call of Duty Warzone maps

When a player goes down in Warzone, they only have a gun in their hand. It may be enough to get that first frantic kill, but it’s definitely not enough for the rest of the match. Players have to loot better weapons and equipment.

Take a look at the various in-game loot that is available on the map.

supply boxes

Supply Crates are a top priority for arriving players. They have weapons with better attachments, cash, and various other items. Supply boxes are of three types:

1) Normal Supply Boxes

Normal supply boxes are enough in Warzone. They are color coded based on the level of loot they drop. Green represents uncommon items, blue means rare, purple means epic, and gold means legendary items.

Map locations that are known locations for legendary box spawners are hot spots for players early in the game. So keep an eye out for supply crates when you arrive.

2) Special supply boxes

Special Supply Crates are always full of high-tier items. However, they can only be accessed at the end of the Scavenger contract mission. So keep an eye on the contract mission with a magnifying glass. A scavenger contract early in the game will help you get fully equipped quickly.

3) Buy stations

Buy Stations are special supply crates where players can spend in-game currency to purchase special items such as armor plates, gas masks, killstreaks, and custom loadouts. It’s scattered across the map and has a shopping cart icon.

lethal equipment

Call of Duty Warzone contains a large number of equipment that can directly kill enemies. They fall into the lethal equipment category.

Semtex, Frag Grenades, Molotov, Throwing Knives, Claymores, Thermites, Proximity Mines, and C4 charges fall into this category.

Among them, the semtex, Molotov cocktails, and thermite come with the ‘Stick’ status effect, which means they stick to enemies’ bodies. Proximity mines, Claymores and C4 fall into the category of activated explosives.

Proximity mines explode when an enemy walks over or near them. Claymores have laser tripwires, and when a player cuts them, they explode. C4 is a launch kit that must be activated manually. Last but not least, we have throwing knives, which are a favorite among veterans for a clean, sleek finish.

tactical teams

The tactical team plays a very important role in the Call of Duty Warzone metagame. They are used for a variety of purposes. From stunning enemies to quickly reconnoitering your position, tactical gear is a must-have in a veteran’s inventory.

We have Flashbang, Stun, Smoke, Gas and Snapshot grenades along with Heartbeat Sensor and Stem which fall under the category of tactical gear.

Flashbangs and stuns temporarily disorient enemies, allowing players to make a quick play. Smoke grenades produce short-term smoke screens, which are very useful for quick escapes or providing cover for teammates. But be aware that thermal sights can see through smoke cover.

Gas Grenades release deadly gas over an area that can damage enemies within it. Decoy Grenades act as a decoy for enemies, simulating the sound of gunfire from the position they were thrown at. This decoy location also shows up on enemies’ radar.

Heartbeat sensors and flash grenades are very useful tools for reconnaissance purposes. Heartbeat sensors are one of the most useful tools in the hands of players in Call of Duty Warzone. Reveals the location of any non-ghost players within a radius of around 50 meters along a 180 degree angle in front of the players.

Flash Grenades do the same thing by outlining nearby enemy players in red for a short time. Both the heartbeat sensor and flash grenade ignore physical objects around them while in operation.

Stims are the health element of the game. Health automatically regenerates when a player retreats from combat. But when you need that instant health bar recharge while in combat, stims are the way to go. Also replenishes tactical sprint.

Auto-reactivation kit

The name “self-reactivation kit” is self-explanatory. Allows players to revive when knocked down by an enemy. Self-Revive Kits can be found as loot on the ground or in a supply crate. Players can also purchase them at Buy Stations for $4,000.

Gas mask

Gas masks are one of the most useful items to be found on the battlefield. Gas masks prevent players from taking damage from gas outside the area. A single gas mask lasts around 10 seconds before breaking.

Gas masks in Call of Duty Warzone are automatically equipped when a player is out of the zone. Gas Masks can be found in Legendary Crates or purchased from Buy Stations for $3000.

load drops

Charge drops spawn randomly on the map. Players must access the loadout drop to get their custom loadouts. A Loadout Drop Marker costs $6000 at the Call of Duty Warzone Buy Station. Drop the marker anywhere to get the charge. But be careful not to stand on the marker, as the charge drop will kill the player if it lands on it.

field updates

Field upgrades are highly sought after in Call of Duty Warzone. These are special abilities or equipment kits that are very useful for players. The Dead Silence ability silences the player’s footsteps, giving them an advantage while ambushing enemies.

Armor Box and Munition Box replenish ammo and armor for the entire squad. The reconnaissance drone can be used to search for enemies and detect ambushes. A very popular strategy in Call of Duty Warzone is to attach a C4 Charge to a Recon Drone and use it to blow up unsuspecting enemies.

killing streaks

Killstreaks are a very powerful single use piece of equipment in Call of Duty Warzone. Killstreaks can be used to call in a UAV, a cluster attack, or a precision attack.

A UAV reveals the location of all non-ghost enemies around the player when activated. A cluster attack designates an area for a barrage of artillery mortar attacks. A precision attack causes two planes to fly over and pepper the area with a hail of pinpoint bullets. Nothing is more satisfying than taking out an entire enemy squad using a kill streak.

Ammunition and armor plate

Last but definitely not least, we have armor plates and ammo that can be found on the Call of Duty Warzone map. They appear as ground loot and in supply crates. Players should always make sure that they and their squadmates have an adequate amount of both in their inventory.
