Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 is here, and with it comes a new loadout of Mythic Weapons. This new update is aptly titled Vibin’, and the island has become one big party for players to enjoy. Along with new quests, skins, and locations, Chapter 3 Season 3 also comes with new Mythic weapons for players to try out.
This season has four mythic weapons that players can use in battle. Mythic weapons are exceptionally powerful weapons, usually obtained by taking down forts Fortnite AI bosses, or completing some other task. Unlike normal weapons, mythic weapons function as upgraded versions of normal weapons, with their own unique abilities.
Unlike previous seasons, players must use a new mechanic involving the Tree of Reality to obtain Mythic Weapons in Chapter 3 Season 3. Players will need to go to Reality Falls and destroy the round, purple plants in the area. Doing so will cause them to drop Reality Seeds, which players can plant. These seeds become Reality Saplings, which players can use to upgrade certain weapons to the Mythic level. Players should be careful not to confuse Mythic Weapons with Fortnite Exotic weapons, which are obtained differently.

These weapons are different from the Mythic Weapons of previous Fortnite seasons, so players will have to try them out to see which they like best.
Each mythic weapon can be obtained in the same way, by upgrading lower level weapons. Upgrading to the Mythic tier can take a while, as players need to continually plant and wait for seeds to sprout, or find saplings from other players to loot and use for themselves. Plants initially start off by giving rare loot and need to be cared for periodically to reach the Mythic level upgrade. Plant status can be checked through the Sapling Status section on the left side of the player map.
