Features and design
Modeled after the classic Minecraft weapon, the Nerf Pillager Crossbow shares the same blocky DNA as its video game inspiration: this blaster is made from dozens of cubes (the only exception is the handle, though at least it’s been put to good use). the squares drawn on the plastic).

However, it stands out for a simple reason. Instead of having you load Nerf bullets individually like the crossbows of old, he stores up to three Elite darts at a time. Unfortunately, comparisons to older Nerf crossbows aren’t always that flattering. The Crossfire had four darts instead of the Pillager Crossbow’s three, for example. Performance
At first I was wary of the Minecraft Nerf looter crossbow. This thing looks as streamlined as a stack of bricks (mainly because it is a pile of bricks). So I pulled the trigger. Oh, this thing can really shoot. I was impressed with the speed and ferocity with which the Elite darts fly out of this blaster, and that makes it wildly effective in action. Granted, the mechanism would overdrive on rare occasions and fire all three darts at once. Or deposit two of them on the ground at my feet, anyway. But he excelled the vast majority of the time.
That getting up and going has another benefit: range. During our tests, darts fired from Nerf Pillager’s Crossbow traveled much farther than expected. They cleared GamesRadar’s open-plan office without a hitch and landed about 20 meters away with minimal drift. This is not a short-range last resort by any means.
The low? Because there are no sights to speak of and it’s a bulky lump of plastic, aiming isn’t as easy as it would be with Fortnite Nerf guns or even the best water guns. That’s not to say you can’t hit anything with toffee, of course, but it’s a bit trickier to line up shots. Don’t expect a shooter’s weapon here.
It’s oddly satisfying to pull back on the lever and hear a ‘clunk’ that hints at just how punchy this blaster is.
Fortunately, you won’t have to worry too much even with that in mind. The Despoiler’s Crossbow fires with enough force to make anyone run for cover (although not enough to hurt them, naturally), so your opponents will think twice before lunging at you. And while younger Nerf warriors may have a hard time priming the toy, it feels easier to handle than its predecessors. In fact, it’s oddly satisfying to pull back on the lever and hear a “thud” that hints at just how impactful this blaster is.
These moving parts are also not fragile. Actually, I’d be willing to bet this toy can take a lot of punishment in general. The internals are well-protected to the point of being encased in plastic, and the blaster’s oversized nature should allow it to take knocks or scrapes without much trouble.
Overall, should you buy the minecraft nerf looter crossbow?
Needless to say, you won’t be rushing out to buy Nerf Minecraft Pillager’s Crossbow if you’re not a fan of the video game itself. Still, though, it’s worth considering if you want something less conventional from your blaster. Powerful, easy to shoot and with a good range, it’s a very respectable option, especially at this price.
