week 6 of Fortnite Episode 3 Season 2 is upon us, which means a new round of seasonal challenges has opened. Completing these challenges is a fun way to spice up a game, and introduces you to mechanics you may not have known existed. On top of that, they’ll give you some delicious XP that you can use to quickly level up in Chapter 3 and push yourself along the way. battle pass progression track.
This week’s set of challenges is pretty simple, and you can easily do them all in one match if you put your mind to it. However, they do require a bit of map knowledge and a bit of luck to see what weapons/items you find.
Deal 100 damage with a bullet
A fairly simple task that will require the right weapon and a touch of skill. 100 damage is equivalent to a full health bar, so even without the challenge, it’s something you should try to do as much as possible anyway.
Long story short, you will need to get a headshot to get close to this one. Doing it in the heat of battle isn’t easy, but the right weapon can do it. the hunter’s rifle and the heavy sniper rifle both will do enough damage, but pretty much any shotgun of uncommon level or higher will do that as well. What you find easier depends on the type of weapon you prefer.
Deal 150 damage while falling
Unlike the previous challenge, this doesn’t have to be done all at once, so life is much simpler in this regard. Of all the challenges this week, this is the one you’ll probably do without even trying, as it should be a natural part of your playstyle.
The easiest way to do this is to engage in a firefight and repeatedly jump. Since you’re in the air, any damage you deal during this time will count towards this challenge. This is the kind of beginner tip you should be following anyway, as it makes it harder for you to hit yourself in battle.
Get air time in a tank three times
Getting airtime in a vehicle is very easy, especially when cliffs and drops are all over the map. The only problem with this mission is getting a tank in the first place. Fortunately, this particular season makes them more common than usual.
In almost every major built-up area, there will be a tank nearby. Looking at the map, any area that has an IO flying over it will have a tank somewhere. The only problem is that they will be occupied by IO soldiers, so you will have to carefully take them out without destroying the tank and then hijack it.
Hit an opponent’s tank with a pistol while crouched
Fortnite it’s a game where players can expect to die a lot, and these challenges love to bring you as close to death as humanly possible. When trying to take out an IO tank, heavy weaponry is usually needed. Whether it’s a good sniper rifle to hit the pilot, or a Rocket launcher to quickly clean it.
Unfortunately, this challenge requires you to shoot it with a pea shooter. None Gun is valid for this. Just head to one of the IO-occupied areas, make sure you’re crouched, and take a shot. That will complete the challenge, what happens immediately after that is your problem.
Cloak five times in five seconds
Fortnite Chapter 3 added a bunch of new movement mechanics to the game, sliding being by far the most notable, but an equally valuable one is cladding.
how to cover Fortnite
It is done near any short enough ledge, holding down the jump button will see your character climb onto the ledge.
Doing it five times in five seconds can be done anywhere with proper technique. Pull up a ledge then immediately stop to drop it, if it starts to hold space while falling your character should instantly grab and go back into cover. If that fails, you can try to find an area with a lot of ledges like the jonesor carefully build something with the construction tools.
Throw the cabbage 100 or more meters in a single throw
You may not realize this, but Fortnite it is full of fruits and vegetables hidden in boxes throughout the map. Whether this encourages kids to eat their vegetables or throw them around is up for debate, but you’ll need to find some for this challenge.
Most stores will have a cardboard box with a green logo and images of food. Loot these and you’ll get a random selection of fruits and vegetables that you can throw. leaning towers has a few of these around town, so that’s a good place to start looking. Once you have found a cabbage, throwing it 100 meters is quite easy, go to a high place and throw it, it will go far enough.
With a Striker Burst Rifle, hit an opponent four times in a row without taking your sights off.
One of the only challenges this week that requires a lot of shooting skill, the Striker’s Burst Rifle it is one of the best automatic weapons in the game. It doesn’t do much damage, but its accuracy and rate of fire are enviable, and it’s not too hard to find.
As long as you keep moving and loot as much as possible, chances are you’ll run into one. Once you have it, it’s just a matter of finding someone to shoot. It’s best to control your aim and be careful here, as you need to take four shots in a row, in full while in the crosshairs. Even if you can’t master it, if you use the Striker burst rifle as your primary weapon for long enough, you’ll eventually hit your target.
