Fortnite‘s Lantern Trials are back after a hugely successful first run in 2021. An event that spans nearly an entire week, players are tasked with racking up points to earn free rewards.
Despite the name, there isn’t much of a trial with Lantern Trials, as most players can earn the rewards just by playing the game and completing simple objectives. Each day brings a different reward with different goals and a wide goal to unlock the main prize, a free Back Bling and Wrap.
Here’s everything you need to know about Fortnite Lantern Trials 2022, including where to sign up, what you can unlock for free, and how you can earn points.
Flashlight Trials 2022 Registration
go to lanterntrials.fortnite.com to sign up for Lantern Trials with your Epic Games account, which you should already have if you’ve ever played Fortnite.

Lantern Trials 2022 Rewards
The following rewards are up for grabs over the course of Lantern Trials this year:

Day 2 – Rook’s Eyeroll Emoticon

Day 4 – Shoulder Rangers
Day 5: all the emoticons
Any Day (Extended Objective 1) – Leadlight Wrap

How do I earn Lantern Trials rewards?
As in 2021, Lantern Trials rewards are free in 2022 and can be earned simply by playing the game.
To earn rewards, you must collect points. You unlock points for completing different objectives on five different days.
On day 1, you have to eliminate other playersbut you only need one point in total for that day.
We will update this with rewards for each day as they are announced.
There is also a broad goal. This is basically a much more intensive version of that day’s goal that asks you to do it X number of times. On Day 1, the ultimate goal is to eliminate 35 players.
Completing the bonus objective on any of the days will earn you the Leadlight wrap, while completing a bonus objective on another day will reward you with the Dream Lantern Back Bling. You get nothing for completing stretch goals in the following days. If you missed the emotes on their specific days, you can get a single point on day 5 to get them all at once.
When does The Lantern Trials 2022 end?
Fortnite’s Lantern Trials began today, April 20, 2022 and will end next Sunday, April 24, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. ET, since it’s a five-day event, which is a couple of days shorter than the last Flashlight Tests.
Note that these items may never return to Fortnite after the event, so if you want free rewards from Lantern Trials 2022, you might as well get those points.
Fortnite is free to play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Android.
